UNICEM Normandie, the regional branch of the national union of quarry and building materials industries, offers companies in the region a close-knit union presence and plays a key role in the implementation of professional policies. The quarries and building materials sector in the region represents 132 companies, 2,422 jobs and 444 million euros in sales turnover.
Our mission is to represent the collective interests of our member companies in dealings with policymakers, government departments and the extensive network of institutional and associative partners with whom we maintain close relations.
Within the framework of the UNICEM collective agreement, we organise dialogue with the social partners, particularly with regard to the periodic negotiation of minimum wage scales.
We also inform and advise our members on tax, legal, social, environmental, technical and economic matters. In particular, we encourage and support our partners in their sustainable development initiatives.
